Sean Palmerston - 2008 Publicist of The Year - Hamilton Music Awards

He won!

I'm so proud! After more than 12 years as a publicist in the music industry, Sean was recognized last night as being one of the best. It's long overdue, in my opinion.

Congratulations!

Here he is accepting his award, and here is a transcript of his acceptance speech:

"I usually prefer to work behind the scenes, so this is a little hard for me, but, I'd like to thank the City of Hamilton. They've given me a job, a wife, two beautiful children and got me the fuck out of Toronto!"

When he got to the "wife and two beautiful children" part, he got choked up. And, that's so Sean. After nearly 15 years of working in music, he is still sincere and completely without pretension.
